still a fan of her recipes, but not of her

The memoir was interesting at the beginning but felt very bragadocious the remainder of the book. After the chapters about her awful and traumatic childhood, she recants how they were so poor but they manage to buy and sell several homes in DC. Again, money so tight but managed to buy a food shop in the Hamptons. Meanwhile Jeffrey is killing it in the Finace world in Japan. Finally, she gets to buy her dream apartment in an exclusive neighborhood in Paris, do major renovations, including buying a $65,000 La Cornue stove, ... My point is she is not the person we see on TV. Or she has grown likeable in her old age.
Entertaining and enlightening!

Love Ina Garten and her cooking shows, that is what prompted me to purchase this book. I was so shockingly surprised, and pleased to find out what an independent, strong willed woman she is. The experiences that she had and the ones with her husband, inspiring and entertaining! Her life can relate to any woman or person struggling to find their passion and place in the workforce!
Very informative.

I learned a few things about Ina Garten that I did not know. Her life had not always been perfect as it seems. I would recommend this to anyone who is an Ins fan. I just wish she would have included more photos of her and Jeffery.
Interesting read
