MOAB Ready Trail Rated Tires
Sammy· Review provided by walmart.com · July 19, 2023
These tires are referred to as “Pizza Cutters” in the off-road scene because they are tall and narrow. They are 33.1” tall and fit my stock Jeep Wrangler Sport without a lift kit. They are highway rated and quiet. They remain tucked inside the wheel well, and therefore offer no more wind resistance over stock tires, so gas millage will not be affected. They are perfectly suited for our trip to MOAB Utah where we will encounter mostly dry conditions. The contact pressure will be superb even when aired down to 20 PSI. They are expected to perform well on the rocky surfaces, gravel roads and occasional light sand. The additional height over stock tires will help clear some obstacles too. Lastly, no modifications were needed to “flat tow” behind the RV, as bumper level was not altered that much by the increased tire height. BTW, they look great on the Jeep.
Recon Grapplers

Put these on my 2005 Ford F350 extended cab diesel. Have almost 2000 miles on them now. Had them in mud, sand and on rock faces, and they did very well well. Pulled my heavy truck up a 70 degree rock face with nary a tire spin. They will be my summer tires as I have a set of Ridge Grapplers for in the winter. Smooth riding and no noticeable tire hum, then again I replaced my Firestone Destination M/T with them, and those were quite loud, and rough riding especially at low speeds. I tow a 7 ton 5th wheel with my truck and these tires handled the weight with no problems.
Best all terrain 10ply tires available right now.

I have only ordered through Walmart online onlya a handful of times. Walmart offered a great deal on these tires, either a roll-back or limited supply, so I immediately made the online purchase being familiar with the product and (typical) price.

Initially, check-out estimated 3-5 days (from AZ to NV) but I was shocked to receive an email on day 2 explaining delivery would be 7 days. I was not happy with the change.

Then suddenly on day 3, the delivery status was back to 3-5 days, and I recieved all 4 tires on day 4.

The delivery and notifications were strange, and I was unhappy - I personally want to be home or home shortly after deliver confirmation to make sure I recieve them and not someone else (if you know what I mean). And expecting the delivery changed twice over one weekend.

I would subtract 1 star, however I do give the benefit of the doubt, that something may have happened I am unaware of, or because the shipping was for 4 separate items (4 separate tires) but they arrived all together on the same delivery.

The product is phenomenal. Everyone is familiar with the Nitto Grappler line, at least if you are shopping for off-road, hybrid, or all terrain tires. These Nitto Recon Grapplers are the newest edition to the Grappler line, and in my opinion, the most well balanced.

All 4 tires arrived unbound or wrapped with only the manufacturer labels attached to the rubber. They were in perfect condition, just like you would see at a nearby tire store - no signs of shipping or use marks or abuse (during transit).

The Recon Grapplers are great tires and I would highly recommend them as an all terrain tire. They mounted and balanced with no issues, and I have put several hundred miles on them, on and off pavement.

I quickly began looking for road noise, any road sensitivity, or significant change in feel from stock (Dunlop Grandtrek P2TA "all-terrain"). And I can confidently say they is no noticeable difference. These Recon Grapplers are 10ply, and I am amazed they feel comfortable and as quiet as stock. They are capable off pavement (I have not used them for rock crawling) and feel firm yet pliable. Of I had to say there was any difference, it would be at lower speeds over smaller bumps - I would describe it as the feeling of rising on over inflated tires, more sensitive. And again at or above 65mph -slightly more sensitive than stock (street/road) tires.

Visit the Nitto Grappler website, and see for yourself why this newest addition to the Grappler line may be the best all around, and we'll balanced tires out there.

For the dry conditions, road, gravel, and dessert here in Las Vegas - these are a probably the best all-terrain tires on the market.
Awesome tire

I wanted to wait to review these tires until I had some miles on them. Well, we have just over a years worth of driving and they have done all I have asked. I have had them maxed out on weight limit, I have had them axle deep in snow. Going, stopping, and hauling have all been perfect. Treadwear is good and I will be looking at these for future purchases. Prior to these I was always buying BF Goodrich A/T's. I really believe these are as good or better.
