Henri Sée (1864–1936), French economic historian, was born at Saint-Brice (Seine-et-Oise). He attended the Lycée Henri IV in Paris and then the Sorbonne.
Henri See was well known. to the readers of the ECONOMIC HISTORY REVIEW, for he had been French. correspondent since its foundation, and his loss will not only be felt by his. own countrymen, but by the numerous students all the world over who. admired the breadth and reliability of his erudition.
