Inexistent customer service

I bought a phone 1 year ago, but the phone is now experiencing issues. I reported the issue via their support email and via messenger, and they simply don't respond. This is the type of company that is only interested in selling, nothing else.

I sent my phone for service in…

I sent my phone for service in February. In the beginning, I received the answer that they have received my phone and someone will contact me. After that, I did not receive any replies to any of my emails. It is almost 3 months that I am without a phone. So I do not recommend buying anything because if something gets wrong you will have just problems.

Impossible to receive warranty service

I recently had the WiFi connection problem with my mi 11, which is a known hardware defect with this specific phone. I tried to contact the warranty service from honorbuy, but they only replied after maybe 8 days. I’m not sure how to reach them in a faster way. And then they told me I have to send my phone to China instead of fixing it here in Europe. Not sure if I’ll ever buy from them again. I understand this is a hardware issue from xiaomi, but as a retailer Honorbuy didn’t deliver a good after sales service. I basically can’t get my phone fixed even if it’s still under warranty.

Customer service and warranty

i bought the phone through honorbuy.com in january and after 10 months the phone started to break down. I sent an email 10 days ago and I have not yet received any response, although the site says that the response is waiting from 24h to 48h. if you need any security regarding the product you are going to buy, you will not get it here

Worst seller ever!

This is worst seller ever! I bought mobilephone that gave me only trouble, has defect-yellow mark on screen, after being repaired from seller, seller returned me mobilephone with same defect. Honorbuy selles mobilephones with with warranty of 1 year, but accutally there is no real warranty...buyer cover shipping costs, waits on repair 2 months, than is beging asked to pay shipping costs for return and after that still has mobilephone with defect. And even than seller doesnt contact buyer. I will never buy from this seller again. I do not recommend this seller. Avoid him.

No support whatsoever

I bought a redmi phone in February of this year and it has started to turn itself on and off non stop. I am within my one year warranty for repair etc but I cannot get any response from honorbuy from any of the support delivery options (messenger, WhatsApp, email) I have followed up twice on each and I have got nothing back.
Couldn't be more disappointed in this, I wouldn't recommend buying from the website at all unless you're happy to have a phone randomly stop working in 8 months and replace it at your own cost again despite having a warranty. Good luck

Lots of gotcha's when buying from honorbuy! - Beware!

Pros:
- Goods arrived quickly

Cons:
- Phone was faulty - clearly not a new device as box was marked and not shrink wrapped - honorbuy disputed this.
- Only recourse was to send phone to china for repairs at my expense. THonorbuy don't accept major couriers (e.g. dhl) which are the lowest cost, so they do not have to pay import duties, instead you have to use minor shipping companies which charge typically 50% more.
- Customer services do not manage expectations, and if you have issues in Feb, expect works delays due to china holiday breaks.
- After a month... phone was returned working.

Overall customer service is really poor, and there appers to be only 1 person.

Beware before buying...

Deart customer, the device you bought from us is 100% orignal and it was new when you received it. The box was opened because we test the phones and we install Google Play Store and a multilanguage ROM in the phones (Chinese version) before sending them to our customers. This is our normal procedure, our customers ask for these things so we install this software in the devices by default.
About the reparation, we ask ouor customers to ship the devices back to us with the normal post to avoid customs controls, using DHL and other express couriers the packages are blocked in the customs offices, it's more complicated, expensive and it takes longer to clear the customs controls. Both shipment and reparation need some time, we try to solve the issues as soon as possible but you need to be a little patient, we are sorry about it.

Be careful: you are demanding global Op.System, they are sending Chinese OS

Hi everybody,

An extremely fast online shop but one little/big painful cheating: I ordered a Xiaomi phone with global Operation System and they have sent me one made for China and now they are washing their hands. they never proposed to change it! they are saying that only other configurations has global MIUI..but on the site appeared that even mine has global MIUI!! Shame..what to do with Chinese language in Romania, EU??

Used this company at least 20 times.
I've ordered phones and smart watches for myself and close family over the last 5 years. They are the most reliable online store i've ever used. Prices are always really reasonable, delivery is rarely over 48 hours to Ireland, customer support are really responsive. Could not recommend them enough.

I bought a Xiaomi mi5x from the …thanks for sending me a miA1. Not the phone I ordered and it's already broken before a year. Never ever using honorbuy again. Get what you pay for.

I bought a Xiaomi mi5x from the honorbuy website and had it sent through EU warehouse. The phone was faulty straight out of the box so I sent it back. Their customer service has been frustrating as 2 months later I'm still seeking a new phone, repair or refund. I have to keep emailing them prompting a very vague response along the lines of 'we have sent it to our leader and will get back to you.' To call it second rate is an understatement. If you do decide to purchase from this website pray to God that whatever you get works as I would not wish dealing with such incompetence on anyone!

Dear Steven, I'm sorry about your issue, unfortunately your phone was slightly damaged on the lower right corner when we received it back from you. This is the reason why we didn't replaced the phone with a new one, I'm sorry but that's our policy, we replace only the devices which are in perfect conditions. Anyway, we'll repair your phone for free and we'll ship it back as soon as possible.
Regarding the slow reply rate and the comunications problems I can only report to my boss to try improving our service.

EDIT: After speaking with my boss and the support team, since the situation has not been solved in a reasonable time, we decided to send you a new phone from our EU warehouse. You will be contacted by our team soon.

Not reccomended!

Hi, I just want to warn you not to shop on this site because you might find yourself in trouble. When I first bought something there everything was fine, both order and delivery. The second turkey was already a problem with sending and it all took too long. But the third time I made an order, first there was the problem that their product suddenly disappeared from the situation, and then they made a problem with the refund. I mostly spent a week bored with their customer service. In short, I am very disappointed and never any of them again.

Bought a Xaoimi mi 9t pro/ k20 pro

Bought a Xaoimi mi 9t pro/ k20 pro, was worried that I would have to pay VAT even though I knew it was coming from Europe (italy), I wasn't certain tho,phone is great no issues, super easy to track DHL order from honorbuy account tab.

Came out to be cheaper than trading Shenzhen and EU global

Is the repair service of Honorbuy trustworthy??

Suggested by Honorbuy support staff I have sent on 8th August my Xiaomi Mi 5i Pro phone for a minor repair to Shenzhen City, China.
From e-mails I understand no repairs have been done. I have asked a couple times, by email and phone to return the phone to me anyhow.
No result so far. I fear I lost an expensive phone.
Is the repair service of Honorbuy trust worthy?

Verry Bad Support!

I have bought in this store a smart phone for nearly 700 euros. In a flash process, there was a failure of the PC and therefore to a full brick of Phones.
To my requests at Honorbuy after a firmware for the phone, I received only links to a forum. This firmware was only flashable via the internal memory of the phones. This is not possible! Other solutions were not offered me Honorbuy. There were repeatedly demanded by up to order number - a solution to the problem was never reached it.
Recently it has been suggested the phone sent back to Honorbuy. According to the statement of Honorbuy in consultation with the technician. I only need a complete firmware for a 700 Euro phone!
Very poor support - or incompetent technician?

Good and cheap products, but bad and slow service

Filled in a complaint about my current phone begin stuck in bootloop multiple times, and that it's not viable for me. Been 9 days now, and no respons other than the standard mail showing that they received it.

Super fast delivery time

Super fast delivery time.
Ordered a Xiaomi Mi 10 Note Lite on Tuesday morning and received it on Thursday evening.
Also very speedy replies to some email I had sent in regards to purchase and delivery from Lorraine in Customer Care.
This is the 3rd phone I've got from Honorbuy and I couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend 👍

poor customer service

I never recommend you to use this site. Inventory control is poor. I ordered a item and next day I got mail from seller telling the item was out of stock and change to another item I didn't want. I asked refund but never reply from seller. This site seems to be fraud to me.

Speedy preorder cancellation

Hello! I just want to praise the prompt customer support at Honorbuy! I've preordered new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Edition and had to cancel it for some personal reasons. No probs at all. Just wrote an email to the support for after-sales service, they've replied the next morning (due to timezone differences) and issued me a refund on my paypal with no delays and excuses! Perfect. Next time i decide to place an order I will surely do it with them again and hopefully won't back off ;)

TERRIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICE !!

I bought an amazfit stratos watch from them that proved to be defective and they agreed to replace it after many many emails and a long painful process. That took them 2 whole months as they first told me they sent it to the manufacturer to handle but as it proved they never did. In the end they finally agreed to replace it with a new one. The new one that is now 3 MONTHS OLD started getting really warm, draining its battery and randomly not working at all, all by its own (no crashes,bumps etc as the watch's exterior is intact). So I contacted them to resolve the issue they told me that it is out of warranty because its now past the 1 year that I originally ordered the FIRST-replaced watch!! Not the watch I own now, but the previous one! So the new watch they sent me (that proved to be defective) doesn't have , in their saying, any warranty and so they don't take any responsibility!!

Defective phone - SOLVED

I ordered a xiaomi redmi note 3 pro, I received it super fast from their EU warehouse but the device didn't recognize any sim card. I was upset and I contacted honorbuy, after 2 days they sent DHL to my place to take back the defective device. They confirmed the problem and they sent me a new one in few days, I'm happy how they handled my situation so I share it here on trustpilot.
